420 Kent Luxury Brooklyn Apartments

Dogs illegally off leash every single day which could harm the public. Dog owners let their animals roam all over the public access landscaping despite the signs 416-420 Kent avenue and as a result the grass look horrible. The building management needs to take care of this problem immediately before a child is bitten and the owners of the property are deemed responsible. Property management needs to get this illegal activity under control. It’s very sad to me that negligent dog owner residents care so little about the community who enjoys the park that they will use this space as a personal toilet for their dogs, while putting their neighbors at risk.

DO NOT GIVE THIS BUILDING A DIME. DO NOT MOVE HERE. As a woman, you will not feel safe. I just moved out of the sister building 416. They completely falsely advertise a doorman secured building. Due to their untrained staff and ZERO protocol (no calling when visitors arrive, leaving the front door unlocked and unmanned when they step away etc.), I was attacked by someone who I CALLED DOWN AND ASKED THEM NOT TO BE LET UP. He was still let up and was charged with assault ON THEIR GROUNDS and never took an ounce of responsibility for their role or any repercussions for doorman. Yes, the view is pretty and the units have nice finishes but for the pricetag and utter scam of a security system they so proudly sell you, you can find MUCH better options right around the corner in the world of luxury highrises in Williamsburg. I am absolutely disgusted by this management, specifically Tina. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN FROM THIS JOKE OF A BUILDING.

I love this building. Been here 4 months, and couldn’t be happier. The staff at the front desk always greets me with a smile and the maintenance staff are very efficient and quick whenever I request them. To people who complain, we live in a building with hundreds of people. There’s always going to be something, but that’s everywhere you go. My experience here has been great so far :) thank you 420 staff for making me feel safe since I’ve been here x

My feelings are very conflicted - I have loved living here, for the most part, but am extremely disappointed about a serious health concern issue that has gone unresolved not only for me but for other residents. This building repeatedly has issues with cigarette smoke permeating hallways and units. It is an ongoing, known issue that the management company has not been able to get under control. I have complained many times, and other tenants have too - the resolution has been that the building management company asks staff to spray air fresheners throughout the hallways and asks residents to notify the front desk when the cigarette smoke is noticeable. For such a serious health concern, this is simply not enough. I only resigned my lease when I was told they were going to try moving me to another unit. Months later, I have not been moved to a comparable unit. Furthermore, management refuses to provide compensation for air purifiers. While I’d love to be able to say my experience living here has been positive through and through, I cannot.
